Using a 9-Hole Round for Fellowship
Why nine holes is often the perfect length for community.
Time-friendly
Nine holes usually takes about half the time of eighteen, making it realistic for parents, workers, and beginners. A shorter round leaves time to talk afterwards.
A simple structure
Gather 15 minutes before the tee time for introductions and a brief prayer. Play nine holes using one theme from the 18 Holes of Prayer per hole. Close with snacks and one shared reflection question.
Pairing thoughtfully
Mix experienced golfers with newer players and rotate partners each time so friendships form across the group.
